Ashby Herd Health was established in 1973 by Dr. Shelvin Arey and now is the largest food animal practice in Virginia. We have seven full-time veterinarians and one part-time veterinarian on staff. We are located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in Harrisonburg, Virginia in the largest agricultural area of the state. Our mission is to offer services to the animal agriculture industry that will make producers more efficient and profitable.
